Why we source globally

The same reference can differ by thousands between markets, and the best example is rarely the nearest one.

A watch is a global product with very local prices. The same reference can sell for noticeably different amounts in Geneva, Hong Kong, Dubai and New York, depending on demand, currency and how recently that market was allocated stock.

Condition and specification

Each market has its preferences. Some collectors only buy unworn pieces with stickers; others care about a particular dial variant or year. Looking across markets means we can find the exact configuration a client wants, not the closest thing available locally.

Why it matters for jewellery

Coloured stones and important diamonds move between a small number of trading centres. Being present in those centres gives us access to stones before they are set, mounted and marked up.

One standard everywhere

Wherever a piece comes from, it goes through the same independent authentication before it reaches a client. The market changes; the checks do not.
